Here we are planning ahead once again. One can only guess as to what will happen with climate change, but I think my San Gabriel Beach theory holds some water. I’m stocking up on umbrellas, sunscreen, and martini glasses.
I have reached that sad point in both The Walking Dead and Warehouse 13 at which I have no more episodes, and desperately want to know what happens next. I’m mostly concerned with Warehouse 13, because I have read The Walking Dead comics and have an idea where season 3 will go.
I am very close to resubscribing to my cable service with a DVR so that I don’t have to pay 2 dollars an episode on PSN or iTunes, or use the generally terrible “Watch Online” option provided by each network. They load slowly, and the image quality is crap. I’d rather wait another 6 months for the next set of episodes to make it to the Netflix streaming list.
I’m still making my way through Borderlands 2, and every time I get tired of killing stuff, looting, and comparing weapon strengths, the writers remind me why I love this series. The humor and outrageous characters are what really sets Borderlands apart from other shooters.
So far, every new character encountered has been ridiculous and hilarious. And there have been a few priceless moments with the crazy redneck Catch-a-Ride proprietor. My favorite nut job is the 13 year old explosives expert. There were some disturbing implications as to how she became insane, but that’s just the way the world works. You can’t become badass by growing up in a cozy little home with nothing bad ever happening.
