The first thing you should know about the new Sailor Moon remake is that you should watch it on Crunchyroll, not on Hulu with its annoying ads and strangely tiny subtitles. The second thing you should know is that a show about girls who transform into a mini skirt and knee-high boots to fight evil will probably make your sense of nostalgia a little uncomfortable.

If you were a fan of the original series, I recommend avoiding too much of the insane reaction from the Internet until after you can experience it for yourself. You’ll probably like the new show if you don’t have any ridiculous expectations of it being something completely different from the original.

One episode in is hardly enough to judge Sailor Moon Crystal anyway. Give it some more time.
