Falling For Her
Here we go. She wasn’t kidding about the havoc and destruction. We’ll continue this on Monday again.
I went to GameStop yesterday, with the intention of purchasing Kid Icarus. We have discussed a few times how prejudiced this game is against left handed people. I was resigned to picking up the $20 extra circle pad accessory so that I could play it, but the situation is more dire than I thought.
It turns out that Circle Pad Pro is a GameStop exclusive and, at least at the store near me, they are sold out for months. The gentleman at the counter informed me that they had already sold out of the next pre-order, and were taking more for a shipment which would arrive in July. Suffice to say I have not bought Kid Icarus at this time.
I’m sure it’s a good game, and I was fairly excited to try out he finished version. But Nintendo dropped the ball on this one. I’m sure the number of people in my situation numbers in the relatively few, but I was hoping to be in a position to provide you with some impression of the return of Kid Icarus. I can’t do that, if I can’t play it.
