Making bad food was probably punishable by death at some point. Or it should have been anyway. Of course, the “reasonable” option would be to just eat somewhere else. But then that garbage would still be out there, and someone might say “Hey let’s eat at this place”, and you might be too polite to refuse.

Like the guy who brings KFC to the barbecue. You know who you are.

I don’t have a lot of time to play games at the moment. There is a Christmas party in a week and a half, and I am apparently supposed to play guitar. So the time that I am not writing, working, or wushuing, I am trying to make sure my guitar skills are marginally decent, at least enough not to embarrass myself.

I assume (perhaps incorrectly) that people will want to hear Christmas music. This brings up another issue. Those are songs that you only practice once a year, usually starting in late October. Your neighbors think you’re crazy, and you generally forget until mid-December. Then it’s two weeks till Christmas and you know one song that you still stumble through half the time.

I’m doomed.
